Can I use a cycle anylst on my bike?

Postby Crash Machine » Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:34 am

Let me start by saying thank you for the wonderful product. I received the kit April 23(Earth day) this year. Steve at Worldwide Electrics has been most helpful. The kit came within a week and I was up and running within that day. I've spent money to improve and upgrade the bike but the kit has given me no problems.
I have about 700 miles on the bike now and have completed my shake down period. All the bugs in the system have been worked out and I have a dependable and stable platform to work with. It's time for me to start really getting hard data on range and battery drain. So this brings me to my question. Can I hook a cycle anylyst to the controller with the six pin connector that is there or will I need to use the stand alone version? I am very interested in spreading interest in electric bikes as alternative transportation. Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Again thank you!!

thanks for choosing fusinmotors ebike kit.

We donot recommend you to use the 6 pin analyst to connect with the controller directly, it might cause improper operation of the kit. A stand alone version will be recommended.

Thanks.

Wow I can't wait to get my hands on one. Till then I'll have to use the C.A.. How soon till we see your version up and running? Good to see new innovations. About my analyst it says to hook it up inline with the battery. Of the three prongs, which one is the battery and what are the other ones for? It should be here soon and I got some of the same hooded connectors as the kit. Also I tried to upload photos from my computer but it said it was too many pixels. That's with my camera set on 1.2 megapixels the lowest. Then I tried to download from myspace and not sure if it worked. I will try again. I would like people to see what's possible with your kit.

Hi man, thanks for the kindness. How big is your photo? is it jpeg format? we do not set a pixel limit on the photo, I guess you need to upload your photo as an attachment and there is no pixel limitation on a photo.

The Cycle Anylst came in today!! I still need to know for sure which is the battery lead. From what I've seen on endless shere it's the bottom right if you are looking at the plug. Is this right? I have a blown fuse in my multimeter so it's hard to tell. Thanks

Ok the cycle anylst is on. I have to set it up still(mph., wheel size, etc.) but it's functional. What a luxury can't wait to charge the battery and try it out. It took me a while, all the extra wires is intimidating but worth it. When you come out with your version though I want one. It would eliminate a lot of wires and probably be more accurate. Anyways, one more time, thanks for the help.
