48V LiFePO4 battery

Hi Louis, after reading a post on Endless Sphere Forum, I am suspecting my battery system from you is with a problem. May be this is the reason why I had the problem with the motor or controller.
The output of the charger is 58.5V. But after fully charged (the green light on) and the charger still hooked up for another few hours, the voltage of the battery is still 54.4V. (According to Endless Sphere ...

Worldwide Electric Bikes Worldwide Electric Bikes

I first learned about Worldwide Electric Bikes on endless-sphere.com, so I bought two kits from them from the reviews. They are now out of business and I have to replace the hub motor but I cannot source where to buy fusin motor or wheel assembly. He told me price (when he was going out of business but never said a word), for a replacement. This was a gift for my wife in December 09, we ...

48V 500W on a Dahon 20"?

Hi Louis,

As I do not have any luck with my previous bike (steep-slope-climbing-t65.html) I have to build one with more torque.

I intend to install your 48v kit on a bike like this one
Image

Is it possible? And if installation is not a problem, will the kit have enough torque for climding a slope of 13 to 15 degree (with moderate pedaling)?

48V 500W Kits Questions

Hi Louis & All other readers,

I got the front wheel and rear wheel versions from Louis last year. For the front wheel version, last year I tested it and found that the third gear (the H gear more preciously) was not working. I wrote to Louis and he gave me several suggestions. But I still could not get the H gear working. And Louis's final suggestion was to send the motor back to him ...

Where to buy?

Hi,

I've read just good comments about your hub motor and kits.

I live in Canada, do you ship direct to customers or do you have resellers here? In the USA?

I'll convert road bike and would really prefer pedelec over throttle to keep alternating my hand positions on the handle. Do you sell pedelec? Can it work with all your controllers or at least those in your current kit(s)?

Thanks.

Are sample motors available for purchase anywhere?

I don't want a kit, all I want is the motor and one which does NOT freewheel. Does anyone have one available?

Also are there retrofit non-freewheeling gear assemblies available for the original freewheeling motors?

Mounting a Front Hub

I just thought I would share how I mounted my front hub motor. I was running aluminum suspension forks for 1500 miles or more. Probably not a good idea. You can see how the washer was not sitting right. This can be dangerous...

Testing of 48v 500w kit-Version 1

I would like to begin testing of the original version of this kit with the freewheel and no EABS. My bike has almost 1400 miles on it so these aren't out of the box numbers on a brand new motor. I will do maybe ten rides and give an average.
My bike is a full supension mountain bike with 26 inch wheels. I'm running Kenda Kross tires inflated to 50 lbs. These test will be ...
